I’m John Wilken, founder of Open House Media. I’ve been photographing real estate since 2010, with experience capturing prestigious homes around the world—particularly in Cape Town.
After moving to Canada, I started Open House Media in 2020. I brought that international experience with me, along with a belief that every home deserves care and attention, whatever its size, style or price point.
My aim is to show each property clearly, bring out its strengths, and help people picture themselves there. That approach runs through everything we create, from listing photography and floor plans to property films and social reels.
